Ricotta of Bufala Campana PDO in Foligno (PE) at the XXIV edition of “I Primi d’Italia”

From Thursday, September 28 to Sunday, October 1, in the magnificent setting of the historic center of the city of Foligno will host the XXIV edition of “The First of Italy” the only national festival celebrating Italian culture, of the First course on the table. Four days of pasta, rice and soups, but also gnocchi and polenta as an expression of rural tradition moved to large cities. In the splendid seventeenth-century palazzo Pierantoni, the Ricotta di Bufala Campana DOP will be the protagonist of the “Villaggio del gusto dei Primi Piatti Campani” for a non-stop tasting of recipes and themed preparations, cooking classes and show-cooking.
Alongside the Consorzio Ricotta di Bufala Campana DOP in the paths of taste in the Villaggio dei Primi Piatti della Campania, with the Consorzio Mozzarella di Bufala Campana DOP, there will be, the Consorzio della Pasta di Gragnano IGP, the Consorzio del Pomodorino del Piennolo del Vesuvio DOP with the support of six companies producing authentic goodness typical of our region:
Agrigenus, with its Pelati San Marzano dell’Agro Sarnese-Nocerino DOP and Cannellino Beans “Dente di Morto” of Acerra, the olive company Badevisco, with the precious EVO oil, G.C. Carni with their selection of fine beef, Pigs and sheep, I Vignai del Casavecchia with their characteristic wines, Petrone with the creations of their distillery, F.lli Rossetti with the excellence of their baked goods and Dragon selection of dried fruits, legumes and potatoes, will contribute to this culinary festival.
Marco C.Merola, the eclectic Chef of Contemporanea Caserta, will supervise and guide the operations in the Villaggio dei Primi Piatti della Campania.
